Lamcot is a Kenyan organisation on the island of Lamu. Lamcot started as the Turtle Project but have since grown into a diverse spectrum of projects. They started an education and awareness program for the local primary and secondary schools. Their goal for education is to teach the children about marine turtles, which are an endangered species. They also wish to teach about the archipelago's unique ecosystem and related health issues.
